One of our most exciting Experiences of the year will surely be this adventure-of-a-lifetime journey to South Africa, where the rugged landscapes of the savanna merge seamlessly with the lush vineyards of the Winelands. Our days will be filled with the thrill of safari excursions, encountering majestic wildlife in their natural habitat and watching stunning sunsets as we sip local wine by the campfire. We’ll then transition to the tranquil beauty of Franschhoek, nestled amidst rolling hills and vine-covered valleys. We'll use it as a base to explore the country’s unique Winelands, indulging in the finer things in life while soaking in the breathtaking scenery.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrivals. Enjoy a relaxing entry into South African culture with a tranquil stay at the Saxon Hotel.
Days 2-6 | Travel to Timbavati Private Nature Reserve within Kruger National Park to check into our luxury Safari Camp. We will be treated to 3 days and 4 nights of adventure immersed in this wild and untouched private reserve set on the bank of the Nhlaralumi River. Experience the wildlife and the intimate, eco-conscious experiences they have created for their guests.
Days 6-9 | Transfer via private plane through Cape Town to Franschhoek. We’ll have the entire La Clé property to ourselves, allowing us to spend peaceful time wandering the gardens and using it as a base to explore the unique Winelands of this picturesque region.
Day 10 | Departures

Pricing Information
This is a Vines Platinum Trip. Platinum trips are the ultimate in luxury travel: 5 and 5+star hotels, culinary experiences of a lifetime (Michelin-starred or otherwise!) and extraordinary world-class wines.
The trip cost includes all accommodations, meals, wines, local transportation and group activities. Guests are responsible for their flights and airport transfers to the hotel or area.
